A commercial septic system is not that different from a residential septic system. Commercial septic systems are installed when there is no local municipal sewer system. Much like residential septic installations, installation costs can vary depending on the size, location and materials needed for a septic system to be efficient for the size of the commercial building and for various waste that is produced – including fats, oils and grease. Commercial properties do generally need to be serviced more frequently than residential properties.

A Septic System is composed of three parts:

  1. Septic tank – the septic tank serves to treat and break-down the sewage.
  2. Leach Fields – the leach fields are the drainage channels running away from the septic tank.
  3. Disposal – The area of ground where the treated sewage is drained into the soil.

A good septic system design will carefully consider each component. Avoid all the pitfalls and common mistakes, if you want it done right then you need it done by an expert.
